Again, I’m going to take issue with the latest polling regarding Romney and yes, with Republican voters supporting him. Romney has a large plurality of GOP primary voters in the latest FOX news poll, the 2nd most accurate poll behind Rasmussen. Here’s where I take issue and why. The reason that these voters are supporting Romney in such large numbers is that they (80%) see “electability” as far and away the most important factor in the upcoming election. That, my friends, is not only a potentially fatal mistake for our futures, but is absolutely based upon a false premise which was cooked up for YOUR benefit by the media.
OK, if you support Romney I now want you to stand about 6 feet from your computer and pour a glass of icewater over your head. After you’re awake and finished dripping, you can return to your keyboard and read this. Romney’s electability is MYTHICAL. The media and the GOP establishment said the same thing about McCain and many of you bought it then, too.
“SLAP”, “BACKHAND”… WAKE UUUUUUUUUUP!!!!! How many times do we have to LOSE a presidential election to understand that MODERATES DON’T WIN!!???!!! Yes, I’m yelling at you!! After this dog and pony show of a primary season is mercifully over, the press will turn on Romney like a rabid dog on a mailman dipped in beef au jus. He is SUCH a flawed candidate in so MANY ways… Realize too that the Obama campaign has had nearly 5 years to do opposition research on this guy. This “electability” thing you hear about is AN ILLUSION CREATED BY THE MEDIA! Again, he might actually be the LEAST electable of the entire, original GOP field. Why else would the mainstream, left-wing media have been promoting him as the “GOP frontrunner” since the end of the ’08 election???
Your vote for Romney in the the primary might assure Obama 4 more years and America’s quick demise. If Romney is not upset in either South Carolina or Florida, we could be stuck with him. Pile on me if you want, unfriend me and honestly… if he wins and is the nominee, I hope to eat my words. I’m just not convinced that that has a snowflake’s chance in hell of happening. If you support my position, fight like Spartans to prevent this political and national disaster. I’m a Christian, but my Jewish ancestry keeps me keenly aware of those who are trying to lure us into what we think is a nice shower after a long train ride, but is in actuality a gas chamber. Think about it….
